SUNDAYS @ CROSSPOINT

Thanks for checking us out online; we look forward to meeting you on a Sunday morning sometime soon!

We call the room where we meet ‘The Crosspoint Living Room’ because our hope is that you feel welcomed, at home and loved. Regardless of your background or where you are in your spiritual journey with Jesus, we are here to provide you with a safe place to grow and discover who Jesus is, what He has done and the life He calls us to live.

Our Sunday service is live streamed on YouTube and Facebook and while we're grateful for this technology, we understand it is no substitute for gathering together in person to worship corporately.  Be sure to introduce yourself to us when you're here to visit.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON A SUNDAY?

Q.  What door(s) do I enter?

Our main entrance is the set of glass doors on the north side (side facing Route 24) of the building.

Q. How long is the service?

Our services are approximately 65 minutes long.

Q. If I have children, where do they go?

SonChasers Children’s Ministry provides a dynamic environment for children ages birth through 5th grade, and this ministry happens during the 10am service.  Arrive early so that you can register your kids prior to the start of the service (5th graders remain with their parents for the music portion of the service & then head back to class).  We look forward to having your child attend SonChasers!  However, we also recognize that there is value in having your child worship along side you in the Living Room and the children's group setting may not appeal to every child.  Please feel comfortable having your kids with you OR taking them to SonChasers.  It's your choice and we support you!

Q. How should I dress?

Come as you are. Our focus is not on outward appearances.  You'll find some people dressed up, and others dressed down. Either way, you are welcome.

Q. If I'm a first time guest, will I be called out?

No. We will not ask visitors to stand and be recognized, or anything like that.  We'd love for you to complete our Connection Card, either in the service or online to let us know who you are.

Q. What if I have a question, who do I ask?

You'll find First Impression volunteers (with lanyards around their necks) at our entrances and at Guest Connections.  They would love to be able to answer any question you may have or lead you in the right direction.

Q. Is there coffee?

Of course.  Come early and get a cup of coffee from our Common Grounds ministry.  They serve Gobena coffee, whose proceeds are used to support orphans in our world.

Q. Will I be pressured to give money?

Giving is meant for members and regular attendees of Crosspoint, those who have found a home here.  We give our offerings as an act of worship, typically during the corporate singing time.  If you're our guest, we're grateful that you are with us, but don't feel obligated to give.

Q. What are the messages like?

We love to preach from the Bible every week.  We believe it is God's life changing Word to us and is completely relevant to our every day lives.  You can check out past messages via our audio podcast or our YouTube channel.

Q. What is the music like?

Our music is up to date with multiple instruments and vocalists.  We'll sing modern worship songs and occasionally a classic hymn, all of which helps to lead us to worship our great God in Spirit and Truth.  We believe our time of corporate singing and worship is a timeless and Biblical call for people to worship our God through song.  The playlist below includes songs you might hear us sing on a Sunday morning.

Q.  Are your services live streamed on the internet?

Yes.  You can watch previous Sundays or an upcoming Sunday streamed live at 10:00am on both our YouTube channel as well as our Facebook page.
