Our 10×10 Goals
On Sunday, June 7th, we cast vision to the church body regarding our new 10×10 Goals: 10 Goals to Reach by the End of 2010. By clicking on the video below, you can listen to the audio of that message. As an Elder team, we are excited for what is ahead, and believe God has great things in store for His church, Crosspoint.
Ephesians 3:20-21: Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work with us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.

300 Attending: At Crosspoint, we are driven to reach people with the life-changing news of the Gospel. We expect to see, on average, 300 adults, students, and children attending our weekly service. Not for our glory but for the glory of God.
90% of our Adults Serving: We believe that all followers of Jesus are called to serve as a part of the Body of Christ. On average, we intend to see at least 90% of our adults regularly engaged in serving in the ministry of Crosspoint.
90% of our Adults Connected to a Small Group: We value and are committed to the Biblical principle of doing life together in community. We intend to see at least 90% of our adults connected to both one another and God’s Word through a small group.
Develop Sermon-Based Small Groups: We are committed to intentional spiritual growth at Crosspoint and believe in keeping our ministry simple and focused. As a result, during two semesters (fall and spring), we will align what is taught on Sunday mornings with what is discussed in small groups.
Hire a Full-Time Youth Pastor: We are committed to reaching and preparing the next generation, and we believe that our next step is to hire another full-time pastor, who will lead Crosspoint’s student ministry (HYPE) and oversee our children’s ministry (SonChasers).
Equip Parents and Families for Discipleship: We are committed to building strong families at Crosspoint, and we understand that, ultimately, parents are the key spiritual leaders in a child’s life. As a church, we want to equip parents for their God-given role. This includes aligning what is taught in SonChasers with practical tools and ideas for parents to use that week in their homes.
Increase our Missions Giving by an Additional 1% Each Budget Year: We are committed to impacting our community and world with the love of Jesus, and we want to set aside increased dollars that will go towards our missions work. By the end of 2010, we intend to be setting aside 12% of our annual budget for missions, both locally and globally.
Mobilize the Church to Serve Locally, Beyond the Four Walls: Along with committing additional funds to go out from our church, we also want to intentionally serve people locally, and by doing so, demonstrate the love of Jesus in practical ways. We believe Jesus calls us to go beyond the four walls of our ministry so that more lives might be impacted for His glory.
50% of our Adults Complete Financial Peace University: We want to equip people with solid Biblical teaching and practical help on handling money according to God’s principles. We intend to offer, at least 3 sessions of FPU before the end of 2010. Financial Peace University will be an ongoing course we offer, even beyond the year 2010.
Land Purchased and Paid For: As a church, it is not our expectation to be ‘mobile’ forever. It is our intent to eventually build and/or renovate a building so that location might become a tool for our ministry. We will be active in our pursuit of that next step, as we trust in God who will open the right doors in His timing.
