About God
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe.  He has eternally existed in three persons:  The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.  These three are equally God and defined as God according to the Holy Bible.  (Gen. 1:1; Ps. 90:2; Mt. 28:19; Rev. 21:6).  God’s character is perfectly holy, loving, good and just.  He is sovereign over all creation, in all times, for all times. (Ps. 24:10, 68:20, 106:1; Isa. 18:22, 45:5; Jer. 10:10)

About Jesus
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to earth fully God and fully man.  He was born of the Virgin Mary.  He lived a sinless life on Earth and offered Himself as God’s sacrifice for the sins of mankind.  He died on a cross, was buried, and rose from the dead after three days proving His authority and power over sin and death.  He is at the right hand of God awaiting His return to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Luke 1:26-27, 32-35, 2:52; John 1:1-5,14, 14:10-20; Acts 1:9-11; Rms. 1:3-4, 8:34; 1 Cor. 15:3-4; Gal. 4:4-5; Titus 2:13-14; Heb. 4:14-15)

About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of God living and working in the life of the believer to obey and to understand Biblical truth.  He reveals the truth and applies that truth to daily living.  Those persons, who have trusted in Jesus Christ as Savior, receive the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation.  The Holy Spirit indwells and empowers the believer to do Godʼs will.  He also gives spiritual gifts to believers for the purpose of building God’s kingdom.  (John 14:26, 16:8,13; Acts 1:8; Rms. 8:2, 9-11; 1 Cor. 2:10-16, 3:16)

About the Bible
The Bible is created and inspired by God.  It is His words to mankind.  It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.  It is the Supreme source of authority and truth for the believer.  It is the foundation for Christian beliefs, values and lifestyles.  Because the Bible is inspired by God, it is the truth without errors or time restraint.  It is complete and relevant for all time.  (Ps. 12:6, 119:105,160; Pr. 30:5; 2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

About Salvation
Salvation is God’s plan and purpose for mankind.  It is about being restored to a right relationship with God.  It is a free gift God offers to mankind for the forgiveness of sin.  Salvation can never be acquired on one’s own merit or accomplishment.  It is entirely by God’s grace and through faith in Jesus Christ.  Salvation is received when a person turns from his self-ruled life and turns to Jesus for forgiveness of their sin.  Salvation is eternally secure and can never be lost.  (John 1:12, 2:16, 5:24, 10:28; Rms.. 3:10,23, 5:1,8; Gal. 3:26; Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Heb. 7:25)

About Spiritual Gifts
Spiritual gifts are supernatural gifts given to believers in Jesus Christ.  These spiritual gifts are for the edifying and equipping of believers.  Crosspoint believes that all of the gifts of the Spirit are relevant and useful for ministering to believers and non-believers alike.  (Mark 16:20; Rms. 12:5-8; 1 Cor. 12:14; Gal. 3:5; Eph. 4:11-16)

About Eternity
People were created to exist forever.  They will either exist eternally separated from God by sin and curse or they will exist eternally united with God in peace and blessing. To be eternally separated from God is in Hell.  To be eternally united with God is in Heaven.  Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence as described in the Holy Bible.  (John 3:16, 5:24; Rms. 6:23; Rev. 20:15)  Hell is a place of everlasting torment and suffering with no relief.  Heaven is a place of everlasting peace and comfort with complete relief.  (Rev. 21:22-27, 22:1-6)
