  • Crosspoint Tailgate Party
    • Following the service on Sunday, October 3rd we will be hosting our third annual tailgate party!  Services will still be at the Middle School but we will move to the Upper Lake Pavilion for the tailgate.  More details coming soon!
  • Mom’s Group Need
    • Our Tuesday morning Mom’s Group is in need of a childcare provider.  This is a paid position and they meet on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from 9:30-11 at the Ministry Center.  If you or you know someone who can help, please contact Jane Baner (212.0492), Cheri Boles (202.6825) or Jess Flynn (376.2163).
  • It’s A Boy!
    • Congratulations to Brian & Lizzie Blunier on the birth of their son, Nohl Edwin born Tuesday, August 31st at 10:45 a.m.  Nohl weighs 8 lbs 7 oz and was 20.5 inches long.  He is welcomed home by big sister Elle and big brother Jack.  Tiffany Weigand (467-5060) is coordinating meals for them.
  • SonChasers Children’s Ministry
    • SonChasers’ is expanding!  With growing attendance and new classes starting, WE NEED YOU!  SonChasers currently needs Teachers & Helpers for:  3 yr. olds, 4 yr. olds, 3rd grade, and 4th grade.  We also need someone(s) who will sew blankets for our newborn babies.  Contact:  Sam (212-1688), Cheri (oggcheri@yahoo.com), or Becky (micbec@mtco.com).
  • Women’s Bible Study
    • We will be starting up a new Women’s Bible Study beginning on Monday, September 13th from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Ministry Center.  Based on Isaiah 43:10, our study will lay a firm foundation from God’s Word, examining what it means to believe God, rather than only believing in Him.   If you are interested in joining, you can sign up at the Guest Connection Center or contact Becky Williamson (467-9542)  for more information.  Childcare will not be available at this time.
  • Hype News
    • We meet on Wednesdays  at the Ministry Center from 7:00-8:30 pm (doors open at 6:30).  We are in a 9 week Soul Survivor Outreach.
    • Saturday-Sunday, October 16th & 17th – Survivor Weekend.  We will be ending our Soul Survivor event with a retreat at Camp Good News.  Cost is $40 and you need to bring your money and permission slip by Wednesday, October 13th.
  • Mom’s Group
    • Our Mom’s Group meets on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday each month at the Ministry Center from 9:30-11:00 a.m.  The book they are studying is by Jill Savage entitled, “My Heart’s at Home”.     Childcare is available.
  • Missionary Visits
    • Crosspoint is blessed to be able to serve 5 missionary families around the world and all five families will be with us at some point this spring & summer.  Jeff & Janet Leman who serve in India were with us in May; Jeff & Angie Hegstrom who lead Relevant Ministry in the Gulf Coast area were with us in June,  Beth Ann Nelson, Italy was here in July, and the Marsdens, East Asia in August. Nate & Ruth Reutter, Brazil will be with us on September 12th.   We are planning on giving them a love offering when they visit.
